US Attorney General and Bush succubus Antonio Gonzales still has his job this morning. One does have to admire his tenacity. He also has a subpoena for documents that the Justice Department has so far refused to provide to a Congressional committee or has so heavily redacted as to be meaningless. I have no doubt that he and his fearless leader will claim executive privilege (remember the Nixon years!) and refuse to comply.
Elsewhere things are fairly quiet for England football coach Steve "I've never really coached a winning team and it doesn't look like I'm going to start now" McClaren although rumours that Chelsea FC coach Jose Mourinho might leave the London club might unsettle Mr. McClaren slightly. Mourinho would make an excellent replacement. Who cares if he's not English!
