Gone-zo watch (day 30)

Barring further gun related tragedies US Attorney General and Bush succubus Antonio "Gone-zo" Gonzales will get his big day tomorrow as rumours swirl that one of his former aids is to be offered limited immunity to testify before Congress. Bring on the super grass!

Same as yesterday as all remains quiet on the England football manager Steve "I've never really coached a winning team and it doesn't look like I'm going to start now" McClaren front. The other contestant in my who-will-get-sacked-first competition.

There is however a dark horse late entry in the who-will-get-sacked-first sweepstakes as, following the collapse of the England cricket team in the world cup, England cricket coach Duncan Fletcher is making a late move from way back in the field!

(To be continued...)
