Homegrown

British scientists, undoubtedly financed by the evils of socialism, have managed to grow a human heart valve from stem cells. They hope to be able to use spare heart parts grown using one's one tissue within three years. Using tissue derived from the patients own DNA will eliminate the risk of rejection and the diet of immune suppressants that transplant patients have to take for the rest of their lives.

Can the ultimate goal of growing an entire human heart be that far away?
