In the ongoing Chicago trial of Baron Black of Crossharbour (aka Lord Black aka Conrad Black) for financial malfeasance the ex-Canadian has lost out in his attempt to prevent the receiver of his financial holding company from revealing how much Lord Black was paid. Lord Black's attorneys (they call him "Mr. Black" in court so that he doesn't seem too posh) had argued that making this information public would violate the receiver's "fiduciary duty to {[Lord Black] as Ravelston's majority stakeholder and that the payment information could prejudice the defence in his criminal trial ongoing in Chicago". The Canadian appeals court basically said "bollocks to that"!
Too bad Blackie!
