The swimming world championships had been going long swimmingly, what with American Michael Phelps winning six gold medals and setting four new world records, only for the obligatory drug cheat story to come along. It turns out that Aussie Ian Thorpe MAY HAVE had a failed test nearly a year ago, showing an abnormally "high ratio of testosterone to epitestosterone and also showed abnormally high levels of luteinizing hormone" and that the Australian swimming federation may not have followed up.
