I have not been following the race for mayor in Philly at all. I know next to nothing about any of the candidates. In fact, until this morning I had no idea that one of the candidates was named Michale Nutter. I know nothing of his positions but I would view his victory as a triumph over prejudice as well as a challenge for every news reader in the City of Brotherly Love who will have to learn how to say "Mayor Nutter" without the least hint of a snigger or a smile.
