Officials in Auckland New Zeeland have signed a deal with the owners of a nearby island, Puketutu Island, that is home to an allegedly extinct volcano, to dump over 60 tonnes of "treated" human excrement down the volcano. The waste could also be used to rebuild the mountain's cone "subject to public opinion". The only remaining question is, should they choose to rebuild the mountain, will they rename it Mt. Shit?
