A survey commissioned by the Royal College of Nursing shows that British priorities are quite different from those of their American cousins. The survey asked what people thought should be government's first priority. The results?
37% said health
23% said law and order
20% said education
20% said the environment
2 % said defence (2%)
Nearly half though higher taxes should be used for health service funding.
