Down in South America the people of Ecuador have overwhelmingly voted in support of constitutional changes that are likely to take the country in a socialist direction.
If the electorate is simply going to go off and vote for things that are good for the people doesn't this prove that the electorate is unsuited to making decisions in a properly neo-Liberal, "free" market, unfettered Capitalist way and therefore should be done away with?
(Note: when I say “done away with” I don’t mean killed. They should just be replaced by other means of determining the direction and composition of the government. They will still be needed for low paying jobs and to purchase useless rubbish with high gross margins to ensure corporate profits continue to grow!)
