Contaminated caravans

On the advice of their attorneys the US Federal Emergency Management Agency suppressed warnings about the safety of trailers being provided to refugees from Hurricane Katrina and other storms for fear that "the agency would be legally liable for any hazards or health problems". Some of the trailers contain over 75 times the safe level of formaldehyde gas, a known carcinogen. At least if the unfortunate residents contract a form of cancer and expire in their trailers embalming may not be necessary.

Let's hear it for "Heck of a Job" Brownie and his equally incompetent and unethical successors!
