In the run up to the eagerly anticipated US sponsored Israel - Palestine peace negotiations the Israeli army has seized 1100 dunams (≈ 110 hectares) of Palestinian land. Clearly this is just an act of prudence on their part as this will allow them to give something back to the Palestinians that they will hardly miss!
