Following the troubles in Jena LA it would appear that using nooses as a medium to communicate a hate filled message is suddenly the in thing. Madonna Constantine, a professor at Columbia University in New York, found a noose hanging from her office door when she arrived for work yesterday. Police are investigating this as a possible hate crime, something that didn't seem to come to mind in Louisiana after white students hung a noose in the "white tree" at the town's high school to discourage non-white students from enjoying its shade.
