Nine years ago today Chilean dictator and criminal General Augusto Pinochet arrested in a London hospital where he was planning to have tea with Maggie Thatcher. General Pinochet was arrested on the basis of an arrest warrant issued in Spain relating to the disappearance and death of Spanish citizens during Pinochet's brutal rule.
To our shame we eventually let him go.
