Thirty four years ago today President Richard "Tricky Dick" Nixon sacked Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox and forced the resignations of Attorney General Elliot L. Richardson and Deputy Attorney General William D. Ruckelshaus in what became known as the Saturday Night Massacre. After they were sacked the offices of all three were sealed by the FBI and they were only allowed to remove personal effects.
Not that this worked in the end. We still found out what you were up to Dicky me boy!
