Why isn't it a practical question?

One of Captain Codpiece's daughters (either Jenna or not Jenna) had the following to say when asked why she wasn't defending America in Iraq:

"I understand that point, but there are many ways to serve our country, and I think my skills are better suited for teaching and representing the U.S. in Latin America through unicef (sic). I respect the men and women of our country who are over there fighting. It is an unbelievably selfless thing to do. But if people really thought about it, they would know it’s not even a practical question." (Emphasis mine.)

I am not belittling her work with UNICEF (do her parents realise that is run by the godless United Nations?). One can make a cogent argument that what she is doing (when not writing a book to take advantage of the spotlight to make money) is for the betterment of mankind unlike Mitt Romney's sons extraordinary sacrifice in working on their dad's campaign.
