George Bush makes new friends but can't take the top spot

A poll conducted in the UK by ICM for the Guardian newspaper makes it clear that George Bush's campaign is working. Britains are frightened of George Bush. Unfortunately for the President in the race to be world's scariest man he once against must once again play second fiddle to his nemesis Osama bin Laden. He does however manage to outpoll North Korean leader and lunatic Kim Jong-il as well as the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. 69% of those surveyed also believed that American policy has made the world less safe since 2001 with only 6% believe it has made the world safer. (I didn't realise that Faux News had managed to penetrate 6% of British households!)

The poll was also conducted by newspapers in Canada, Mexico and Israel with similar results. Even in staunch American ally and co-dependent Israel only 25% believe Bush's policies have made the world safer against 35% who believe the opposite.

One is judged by the company one keeps!
