Going Kafka one better

In the so called tribunals in which American prisoners are determined to be "enemy combatants" the prosecution often present no "witnesses at the hearings,...denied all detainee requests to examine classified evidence against them and all requests for defence witnesses not housed at Guantanamo Bay" according to a report out of Seton Hall University.

Basing their findings on materials released under Freedom of Information Act requests
law professor Mark Denbeaux and Joshua Denbeaux also found that in 558 tribunals only 38 of the detainees were found not to be "enemy combatants", a 93% conviction rate. Any DA would be more that happy with that and all without any plea bargains!

Full report may be found here.
