70,000 USD per second

That's what ExxonMobil's record profits of 39.5 billion USD works out to on a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week basis.

So 1.6 million USD that they have splashed out to the American Enterprise Institute to bribe scientists to write articles opposing the UN's findings on climate change won't really make too much of a dent as it will only account for about 20 seconds worth of the profits.
