Bullets don't kill people - taxes do

I hope that Cook County (Illinois) Commissioner Roberto Maldonado realises that he is in for a shit storm of criticism for his proposal to slap a ten cent a bullet tax on ammunition sales.

The Illinois State Rifle Association has already described the suggestion as "an appalling display of disrespect for our Constitution". Undoubtedly there will be more to follow.
