Bullets don't kill people - taxes do!

Cook County (Illinois) Commissioner Roberto Maldonado has proposed a ten cent a bullet tax on ammunition sold in the county. Although I think it is a blinding idea I hope he is prepared for the shit storm that is to follow.

The Illinois State Rifle Association has already called the proposed measure "an appalling display of disrespect for our Constitution".

Chris Rock, who thinks that bullets should cost five thousand dollars ("If a bullet cost 5000 dollars there'd be no more innocent bystanders") will think that Commissioner Maldonado hasn't gone far enough. I leave you with his proposals on gun control.
