It is almost always good to see my old home state, where I grew up but was not born, in the news so I am positively delighted to see that that Prince of Tolerance the (way) Right Reverend Fred Phelps, of the Westboro Baptist Church, is bringing his message of Christian love to the great city of York. The good man is upset that the local high school is to put on a production of the play, The Laramie Project, which tells the story of undoubtedly justified murder of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming. Mr. Shepard was brutally beaten to death by some good Christians who objected to his lifestyle choice. Mr. Shepard was apparently a shameless Sodomite.
Misguided local students, who plan to protest the Reverend's protest, seem to have misunderstood his messages saying that he is full of "so much hate" when in reality the Reverend Phelps is full of good, tough Christian love for those of whom he, and therefore God herself, approves.
