Is the Iraqi insurgency matching the American "surge" that is currently underway and surging along with them? Have they acquired new weapons that will otherwise explain their sudden success at bringing down American helicopters? Will the Bush administration leap at this opportunity to claim the new weapons are coming from Iran?
