Judges on the Ninth Court of Appeals in the US have decided that dying woman can be prohibited access to the medicinal marijuana that is keeping her alive. Angel McClary Raich of Oakland CA has an inoperable brain tumour and the cannabis is the only medication that is effective for her pain and, perhaps more importantly, stimulates her appetite.
I eagerly await the impassioned statements in her defence by the Rt. Rev. Falwell and other prominent members of the "right-to-life" community. I am certain that since this is an example of a woman who clearly wants to live and the state is denying her the means to continue to do so that he and his comrades will want to support her with all of their considerable means. Right?
