As if we didn't have enough medical problems to worry about what with bird flu, various lethal strains of MRSA and drug resistant tuberculosis. So it is not all helpful that scourge of the middle age, bubonic plague, is now developing resistance to antibiotics after mingling with other drug resistant pathogens in the guts of fleas.
