It was fair to treat the claims in James Cameron's latest film that the site of Jesus's tomb had been uncovered with scorn as the archaeology had not be subject to any sort of peer review. It was only natural to consider such claims as sensationalist.
The same rules apply to claims by the producer of Grizzly Adams that he has archaeological "proof" of Jesus's resurrection. When his claims have been through peer review, and I will not hold my breath, I could consider them as serious. Until then. Sorry. Not impressed.
