The US Army has said that soldiers were justified in erasing video footage of a suicide bombing in Afghanistan which had been taken by journalists because it may have impeded any investigation, or indeed whitewash.
Would someone please explain to me how destroying potential evidence in any way assists the investigation? I reckon I'm just stupid because I don't get it.
