Diplomatic relations between the United Kingdom and Russia are on a tenuous footing this morning as the Kremlin is demanding that the UK hand over exile billionaire Boris Berezovsky. Speaking to the Guardian newspaper last week (or was it this week?) Mr. Berezovsky seemed to call for the violent overthrow of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Berezovsky currently has asylum status in the UK. I am sure that if he were returned to Russia he would receive a fair and open trial, at least by Guantánamo standards.
