US Attorney General and Bush succubus Antonio Gonzales still has his job, at least for now. Now that the Congress has refused to pull up his testimony before them, after all they scheduled around the dates that he said he was available before his credibility went into the hopper, he will have all of the Easter recess to polish up his lies. Maybe he should just avail himself of his rights under the 5th amendment to the Constitution. It would certainly make things simpler.
Elsewhere in our who-gets-sacked-first competition, England football manager Steve "I've never really coached a winning team and it doesn't look like I'm going to start now" McClaren, has received a vote of confidence from no less a luminary than Chelsea FC manager Jose Mourinho. Unfortunately the FA doesn't have the financial resources that Mourinho's chairman does so McClaren's severance package won't be as impressive as Mourinho's will be when the time comes.
