The new kamikazes

One of the RAF's most senior officers, Air Vice-Marshal David Walker, has suggested that British pilots should be prepared to undertake suicide missions in the event of an imminent terrorist attack.

Given the quality of recent intelligence I think that it is a bit of an ask to send young men off to kill themselves should we believe that, for instance, an Iraq-like country is to launch an attack in the next 45 minutes!

Should it come to this will they be given appropriate head gear or will they have to settle for wrapping a Union Flag around their head?
