Fancy a drink?

The state of California looks set to revive plans for a controversial canal to bring snow melt runoff from the Sierra Madre thirsty southern Californians. Why is the project on the table again after more than twenty five years. It seems that the existing systems are damaging the eco-systems Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and suddenly the government is willing to consider anything.

Anything that is other than facing the fact that there are too many bloody people living in the desert and that population reduction is the only long term solution. Perhaps some of the Californian Anglos could emigrate to Mexico! It would make for a change.
