I think that is a legitimate question to ask of anyone who has the temerity to say, out loud, "I don't know why someone else's marriage has anything to do with me".
Well if she doesn't understand the answer to that and her husband does not make her submit to him "as to the Lord" (Ephesians 5:22) then his candidacy is toast.

Elizabeth Edwards hates marriage? A strawman argument if I ever saw one.
Edwards has NEVER said she hated marriage. She has said, however, that she doesn't know why the marriage of other people are any of her business.
Talk about radically twisting her words into another meaning!
By the way, if you don't want to marry someone of your own gender, DON'T!
