It's a shame Bush didn't try and give this guy a judgeship

I would have enjoyed the Senate hearings for Col. Michael D. Murphy, an Air Force lawyer who previously worked at the White House. It seems that he was disbarred in 1984 but just kept right on practicing. His recent positions include two terms as general counsel for the White House Military Office (12/01 - 1/03 and again from 8/03 - 1/05). In between he was legal advisor to the Iraq reconstruction effort. You know, the same reconstruction effort that's leaking billions through corruption.
