Lame ducks feather their nests

It's good to see that, in their final hours before going home, the US House of Representatives has managed to find time to make sure that tax cuts for the wealthy didn't expire. Somehow though they just couldn't push themselves to face the work of actually preparing a budget for the country.

At least they have their priorities in order!
