...and boy are the wing nuts ever pissed off! How dare the Israelis abandon their role as the keepers of the sacred bigotry.
To quote a spokesman* for the Concerned Women of America; “It defies logic that the state of Israel would grant any official recognition to counterfeit 'same-sex marriage”. The spokesman is apparently quite willing to ignore the fact that Israel is a democracy and is therefore entitled, if not obligated, to act as its people wish.
* Am I the only one confused by the fact that the CWA almost always seems to use “spokesmen” as opposed to “spokeswomen”? Perhaps all of America’s truly concerned women are at home in the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant and therefore not available for comment.
