In today's Guardian we find an assessment of progress to date in the Chicago trial of Baron Black of Crossharbour (aka Lord Black aka Conrad Black) on a seeming limitless number of counts of financial malfeasance. The ex-Canadian British peer seems to believe, much like most of the members of the Bush administration, that he has done nothing wrong, that he has nothing to be ashamed of and that there is no risk at all of him being found guilty. One can only hope that he is very, very wrong!
