Before heading off into what will undoubtedly be a very lucrative retirement, the former US Secretary of Defense, Donal Rumsfeld, made a valedictory address at the Pentagon yesterday. Highlights include his assertion that the US will win in Iraq ("I was right!") and his story that his worst day in the job was when the Abu Ghraib abuses came to light.
Gee Don, that doesn't sound like too difficult a day compared to what actual prisoners there actually had to go through under your stewardship or possibly even under your orders. Try and sleep on that if you can (and if you can you are a seriously flawed human being).
