Thieves in the graveyard

One of my favourite ways to spend a drizzly Saturday morning in Paris to have a stroll around le cimetière Père-Lachaise. It is a beautiful place conducive to contemplation and full of the last resting places of the famous and infamous from Heloïse and Abelard to Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison.

Now it is being targeted by thieves who are stealing sculptures and busts from famous graves seemingly "to order".
