Boffins and the nasal coifure

The magazine Scientific American is generally known as a place to go to look for serious articles on serious subjects. That has not stopped them, however, from publishing, in their "Ask the Experts" column, a response to the often asked but rarely answered question "How do hairs like those on the chest or in the nose know to grow when you trim them?".

It just goes to prove that you can learn something everyday!
