The PM seems to be spinning around and around these days. I don't know how he knows which way he's pointed at any given moment (maybe Cherie helps with that). Yesterday he appeared to do a double double back, possibly in the tuck position, a difficult achievement even for a mythomaniac of his caliber.
First he said that you should fly wherever you wanted, the planet be damned and that science would save us. No sense doing any of that carbon offset stuff he said. Now, for some reason, offsetting is just the ticket!
Just to top things off, after a period of protracted silence which seemed to signify tacit approval, he has finally come out, trailing both Deputy PM John Prescott and Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown, in codemning the manner of Saddam's killing but not necessarily the killing itself.
Good to hear from someone who claims to be an ardent opponent of the death penalty.
