Despite what the military would like us to believe bombing is quite a blunt instrument of war. It is generally not an appropriate choice to go after one or two individuals.
It would seem that the American military, or at least its political "leadership", is blissfully unaware of this. The Americans have been bombing Somalia now for three days, apparently targeting two or three specific men, one of whom may have been killed, with the result that many other people have died. Undoubtedly we will be told that they were all guilty. Since no one is guaranteed a trial anymore I guess we have to believe them (or not!).
