"Whatever you do, don't say 'jihad'"

Is there a conspiracy amongst the religious right to take infiltrate and control the armed forces and police of the US? There are some who not only think that there is but that it is well on the way to achieving its goal.

I certainly wouldn't make me feel any safer if it were true that's for sure.
