Well the Bush budget, all 2.9 trillion (how many zeroes is that?) USD of it, has hit the streets and I am sure that the pundits are weighing in. Even without expert testimony it is easy to see the true face of Bush's compassionless conservatism.
The winners: what Dwight Eisenhower warned us about all those years ago - the military industrial complex. Bush pours more and more hard-borrowed money down the Iraqi drain asking for an additional 240 billion USD for Iraq in what is undoubtedly a record defence submission.
The losers: healthcare, food and heat for the poor, education, you know the drill.
