The British tourist industry is set to take advantage of the country's rock and pop music heritage by launching a map of key iconic sites to be found up and down the country including such diverse locales as the site of Marc Bolan's fatal car crash and Abbey Road Studios in London.
The map also includes Widnes train station where Paul Simon wrote Homeward Bound. I would like to know what Paul Simon was doing in Widnes and why? Was he trying to avoid Garfunkel?
