Britain set to destroy the family and Christianity

I am certain that the American Christian right will be calling for the Bush government to sever diplomatic relations with the UK once they get wind of the fact that Britain is set to make fertility treatment available to all couples irrespective of sexual preference and the doctors will no long need to consider the potential child's "right to a father".

We've also had civil partnerships for same sex couples and as far as I can tell "traditional" marriage is not in ruins.
