Perhaps it is time that mandatory drug tests were imposed on US Supreme Court justices. Had they been in place in 1981 we might have got rid of Rehnquist before he did much damage. According to the Washington Post article he became addicted to downers and then became "delusional" whilst going through withdrawal. There's no evidence that the delusions ever went away.
