US Deputy National Security Advisor J.D. Crouch is to leave the White House now the two projects he had been working on, the Iraq military strategy and the detention of evil doers, are all sort out. As far as I can tell Mr. Crouch is breaking with a long standing Bush administration tradition and leaving of his own accord without an indictment, an investigation, a sexual scandal or an illness to give as the reason for his departure.
