US Attorney General and Bush succubus Antonio "Gone-zo" Gonzales continues to struggle through hanging on to his job as Congress seeks Karl Rove's e-mails and evidence surfaces that Gone-zo's key aide, Monica Goodling, may have broken the law by politicising hiring decisions for career Justice Department employees. Meanwhile one of my own personal Senator's, Arlen "Single Bullet" Specter, comes tantalisingly close to saying that Gone-zo should go-zo but then doesn't. Let's face Arlen is just a tease. For as long as I can remember he always seems to be on the brink of doing the right thing and then accidentally not doing to the right thing at the last moment. I think I even voted for him once. I am truly sorry.
I have decided to stop mentioning what is not happening as regards England football manager Steve "I've never really coached a winning team and it doesn't look like I'm going to start now" McClaren, the other runner for second place in my who-will-get-sacked-first competition until the not happening stops not happening and some actual happening starts actually happening.
