I generally tend to agree with those who claim that American society has become excessively litigious although I often don't agree with the solutions to the problem, which only seem to benefit corporate interests, offered up by the so-called experts.
However I have nothing but praise for a legal system that allows a lawsuit of this nature to go forward. Televangelist Darlene Bishop is being sued by her nieces and nephews over claims in her book that God cured her brother of throat cancer and herself of breast cancer. It seems that Darrell "Wayne" Perry actually died of throat cancer eighteen months ago. No further reports are available as to Ms. Bishop's condition.
I wish Mr. Perry's children all the best in their endeavour and as for Ms. Bishop I think that it would be best if she just went away!
