Will so-close-to-being-Prime-Minister-that-he-can-actually-taste-it Gordon Brown confound the pundits and call a snap election within the next year? There are strong indications that he will and I think he ought to. He probably thinks it is a good idea since Young David Cameron has taken a bit of a beating in the polls and the Lib Dems are fading into obscurity under Old Ming Campbell.
At least it won't last for two bloody years like some elections that come to mind.
