Gone-zo watch (day 81)

We are approaching the three month mark in my tracking of the decline and, I hope, fall of US Attorney General and Bush succubus Alberto "Gone-zo" Gonzales. Who would have thought the little shit was so tenacious? He should have an exciting and interesting week next week as the Senate has scheduled a vote on a no confidence resolution for Monday. One wonders how many Republicans have to vote in favour of the no confidence vote in order to force the Decider(TM) to decide to decide to listen.

Meanwhile England football coach Steve "I've Never Really Coached a Winning Side and It Doesn't Look Like I'm Going to Start Now" McClaren is said to be feeling quietly confident that he will not manage the second spot in the first annual Yank in London Who Will Get Sacked First Competition as England haven't got another real match until September. There is a summertime friendly against Germany but then England always lose to Germany don't they?

(To be continued...)
